Your role

You are responsible for the design and implementation of procurement strategies for the plastics commodity group to ensure the company’s long-term competitiveness.

You identify, evaluate, and develop supplier relationships, including the execution of tenders, contract negotiations, and contract completion.

You analyze and manage costs to identify and realize savings potential, including the optimization of total procurement costs.

You are responsible for supply chain risks, including identifying potential disruptions and developing risk mitigation strategies.

You monitor and analyze the performance of procurement processes and strategies to ensure continuous improvement.

You enjoy working in a cross-site team and are comfortable communicating in English.
Your profile

Degree in business administration with a focus on procurement or further training in purchasing

Several years of professional experience in strategic procurement, preferably in an international environment

Strong negotiation and communication skills as well as strong analytical thinking

Market and product knowledge (goods and services) within the DACH region, knowledge of contract and patent law, and basic project management skills

Proficiency in MS Office and SAP

Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken

This position is subject to the minimum salary stipulated in the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry, based on 38,5 hours per week. The amount of the overpayment depends on your professional qualifications and experience, as well as the labor market in Vorarlberg.
