Your role
- You are responsible for developing and implementing global procurement strategies to ensure the company’s long-term competitiveness.
- You identify, evaluate, and develop supplier relationships. This includes conducting tenders, negotiating contracts, and finalizing agreements.
- Strategic buyers analyze and manage costs to identify and realize savings potential. This also includes optimizing total procurement costs.
- You are responsible for potential risks in the supply chain, including identifying potential disruptions and developing risk mitigation strategies.
- You monitor and analyze the performance of procurement processes and strategies to ensure continuous improvement.
- You look forward to working in a cross-location team and are comfortable communicating in English.
Your profile
- A degree in business administration with a focus on or further training in procurement
- Several years of professional experience in indirect procurement, preferably in an international environment
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, as well as analytical thinking
- Market and product knowledge in the field of indirect procurement (goods and services) in the DACH region, contract management skills, and basic project management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP
- Excellent written and spoken German and English
