We develop and operate Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) used worldwide at the Ivoclar Group’s production sites. Our core application, ePPC, supports the planning, control, traceability, and quality assurance of production processes and is connected to numerous peripheral systems, machines, SAP, and OPC UA-based interfaces.
Your role
- Design, development, and maintenance of complex software solutions for our global MES landscape
- Technical responsibility for core components of ePPC, ePPCUA, and integration solutions
- Development of high-performance and scalable architectures
- Implementation of modern integration concepts based on OPC UA, MQTT, and interfaces to enterprise systems
- Coaching and mentoring developers and collaborating with international production sites
- Responsibility for the quality, security, and maintainability of the software
- Collaboration on architecture and modernization projects
- Support activities (3rd-level support)
Your profile
- Several years of experience in professional software development in Java (Java EE / Jakarta EE)
- Experience in object-oriented software development and object-oriented data modeling
- Experience with software architecture and complex enterprise applications
- Problem-solving skills, strategic and entrepreneurial thinking
- Strong communication skills and a passion for sharing knowledge and working in a team

For this full-time position (40 hours per week), the gross annual salary starts at 45,000 EUR and a variable bonus based on the company's earnings. Actual compensation will be determined based on professional qualifications, relevant work experience, and the skills required for the position. Salary classification is in accordance with the applicable working agreement for the rubber and plastics processing industry.
