Your role

• You are responsible for developing and implementing global procurement strategies to ensure the company’s long-term competitiveness.
• You identify, evaluate, and develop supplier relationships. This includes conducting tenders, negotiating contracts, and finalizing agreements.
• Strategic buyers analyze and manage costs to identify and realize savings potential. This also includes optimizing total procurement costs.
• You are responsible for potential risks in the supply chain, including identifying potential disruptions and developing risk mitigation strategies.
• You monitor and analyze the performance of procurement processes and strategies to ensure continuous improvement.
• You look forward to working in a cross-location team and are comfortable communicating in English.

Your profile

• A degree in business administration with a focus on or further training in procurement
• Several years of professional experience in indirect procurement, preferably in an international environment
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, as well as analytical thinking
• Market and product knowledge in the field of indirect procurement (goods and services) in the DACH region, contract management skills, and basic project management skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and SAP
• Excellent written and spoken German and English
