In this role, you actively shape the next generation of digital dental prevention – from scientific concept to chairside application. The focus is on a holistic approach that combines modern technologies, scientific insights, and patient-centered solutions to sustainably improve oral health and set new standards in preventive care.

Your role

• You develop new concepts and technologies for a digital prophylaxis system
• You analyze biological, diagnostic, and clinical data
• You work in interdisciplinary projects with experts from dentistry, dental hygiene, computer science, and product management, taking on partial or full project leadership
• You define, specify, and test core functions of prototype software in close collaboration with developers and pilot practices
• You support functional prototypes from initial idea through development, validation, and documentation to handover into product development
• You identify patentable technical solutions and actively support the patent application process
• You monitor market and technology trends in dental diagnostics, prophylaxis software, and AI solutions, deriving product requirements and opportunities
• You take on the challenge of consistently considering clinical relevance, technological feasibility, and product strategy as a whole in order to develop robust, validated product features

Your profile

• You hold a university degree (University/ETH/FH) in one of the following fields or a comparable discipline: biology, dentistry, dental hygiene, medical technology, computer science, data science, or a related field
• You bring at least 5 years of relevant professional experience, with clear expertise in one of the domains (clinical/prophylaxis, software, data analytics) and a solid understanding of at least one additional area
• You have hands-on experience in planning, conducting, and analyzing experiments or pilot projects and are comfortable working directly with prototypes
• You are interested in digital products, can structure and document complex topics, and translate them into requirements for developers
• You enjoy coordinating interdisciplinary teams
• You have the ability to act as a bridge between clinical, technical, and business perspectives
