Responsible for support and or run overall or partial Payroll and Time & Attendance administration for various Legal Entities, utilizing good judgment, discretion, professionalism and conforming to all applicable laws, company policies and regulatory requirements.
Your role
Support and /or the run parts or entire Payroll workflow for various different Legal Entities:
• Support and or run actions regarding Payroll Calendar & Cut‑Off Management
• Administration of Data Collection:
o Maintain payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
o Initial new hire records creation, employee orientation scheduling, documentation review and recordkeeping.
o Track and record all employee additions, terminations, status changes or changes to other personal information as they relate to necessary payroll records including employee payroll or benefits records or other data as required.
• Support and or run Pre‑Payroll Data Validation
o Establish/maintain employee records; ensure that employee changes are entered correctly and made on a timely basis; review changes for proper authorization and adherence to policy including compliance with local regulations.
o Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
• Support and or run Payroll Input Preparation
o Support preparation and processing of payroll via different vendor software in a timely fashion.
o Update payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, job title and department/division transfers etc.
• Support and or run Payroll Execution (Decision & final execution Out of Scope)
o Support processing payrolls in compliance with regulations, enforce adherence to requirements and advise management on needed actions.
o Interface with corporate and local People & Culture to act as coordinator for payroll and related benefits.
• Support and or run Post‑Payroll Validation & Queries
o Provide payroll information by answering questions and requests.
• Support and or run Payroll Letters & Documentation
o Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
o Prepare reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages.
• Audit & Evidence Management
o Maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures, reporting needed changes to management.
Support and /or the run parts of entire Time & Attendance workflow for various different Legal Entities:
• Support and or run Time Recording & Absence Entry
o Support and or handle the administration of the electronic timekeeping system.
o Monitor submissions of approved timesheets, ensure valid data transfers to/from payroll service.
• Support Manager Review & Approval
• Support and or run Data Validation & Exception Handling
o Responsible for coordination of any necessary research; contact with the Company’s payroll vendors.
o Ensure all employees are adhering to company time off policy and procedures.
• Support and or run Balance Management & Adjustments
• Support and or run Reporting & Data Provision
• Support and or run Payroll Interface & Cut ‑ Off Management
• Support Governance, Controls & Audits
Your profile
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 2 years’ payroll processing experience required.
• Experience with payroll and time/attendance software. US payroll experience required, EMEA payroll experience highly desired
• Knowledge of several employment laws and some aspects of human resources including benefits, payroll, leaves of absence
• Ability to acknowledge employee privacy laws and protect company value by keeping employee information confidential.
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office. Strong Excel experience required.
• Strong mathematical attitude.
• Ability to identify, analyze and resolve problems in a timely manner with great attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both oral and written, with the ability to professionally interact with all levels throughout the organization.

• Thoroughness, with ability to organize and prioritize workload.

According to the collective agreement, this position offers a gross annual salary of €XX,XXX on a full-time basis and will be significantly higher depending on professional experience and qualifications.
This position is subject to the minimum salary stipulated in the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry, based on 38,5 hours per week. The amount of the overpayment depends on your professional qualifications and experience, as well as the labor market in Vorarlberg.
