The Finance & Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the company’s finance and accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, strong financial controls, regulatory compliance, and effective financial planning and analysis.
Your role
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Management & Reporting

Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.

Ensure accurate, complete, and timely recording of financial transactions.

Monitor financial performance, including revenue, operating expenses, profitability, cash flow, and working capital.

Lead monthly financial closing and ensure adherence to established closing timelines.

Prepare and analyze budget versus actual results and provide explanations for significant variances.

Provide financial insights and recommendations to management to support business decisions.

Support the preparation of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
2. Accounting Operations

Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, and bank reconciliations.

Ensure proper accounting treatment and accurate classification of transactions.

Review journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, provisions, and other accounting adjustments.

Ensure timely and accurate intercompany accounting and reconciliation.

Maintain appropriate accounting documentation and audit trails.

Drive continuous improvement and standardization of accounting processes.
3. Compliance & Statutory Reporting

Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, corporate regulations, and other statutory requirements. – BIR, SEC, BOI, PEZA

Oversee the timely preparation and submission of statutory reports, tax returns, and regulatory filings.

Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, regulators, and other external stakeholders.

Monitor changes in accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements and assess their impact on the business.

Ensure compliance with company finance policies, internal controls, and delegated authority requirements.

Maintain proper documentation to support regulatory and statutory compliance.

Coordinate and manage responses to tax assessments, audits, and other regulatory inquiries.
Your profile
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

CPA/CA or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.

Typically 7–10+ years of relevant finance and accounting experience, including experience in a supervisory or managerial role.

Strong experience in financial reporting, accounting, taxation, compliance, and internal controls.

Experience working with external and internal auditors.
-
Strong knowledge of applicable accounting standards and local statutory requirements.
-
Experience in a multinational, shared services, or GBS environment is an advantage.
