Your role

• You will provide technical and managerial leadership to a team that delivers outstanding results every day. Through your leadership, you will specifically encourage and challenge employees, foster clarity and trust in teamwork, and support the team in further developing their strengths.

• You will implement the company’s strategy, monitor and analyze processes within your area of responsibility to ensure continuous improvement.

• Your focus is on capacity planning, organizing, and managing all commercial order processing as well as transport services for domestic and international shipments.

• In day-to-day operations, you actively participate with full commitment, for example, in preparing invoices, transport and export documents, certificates of origin, and hazardous materials documentation. 

• You keep a close eye on on-time delivery and coordinate this with your team, freight forwarders, logistics partners, and customers.

• You look forward to working in a cross-location team and are comfortable communicating in English.

   

Your profile

• A commercial apprenticeship, such as a degree in wholesale and foreign trade management and/or freight forwarding and logistics services

• Several years of professional experience in a comparable management position, preferably in the field of export/shipping

• A strong sense of responsibility toward employees and customers

• Process-oriented thinking, ability to quickly grasp complex relationships, and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving

• Proficiency in MS Office and SAP is desirable

• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills are required

• A conscientious, team-oriented, and results-driven work ethic rounds out your profile
